Stunning Wallpapers

InterfaceLIFT is a high resolution wallpaper gallery for you computer. Just by visiting the website at www.interfacelift.com you will already see a list of the most recent wallpapers that you can download to your computer.

I have been using this website for a long time now. My current favorite is “The Green Hills of Home” but that might change as many photographers, painters and digital artists are always adding new content to the site. There is almost 1 new wallpaper a day so you can keep changing the way you like.

You can download wallpapers in almost any standard resolution. You can get the wide screen version, the full screen version, dual and triple monitor version and even for you PSP and iPhone.

To get started you first need to know what your monitor resolution is.

To find this out on Windows XP or earlier right click on the desktop and select Properties and then click on the Settings tab. You will see it below the horizontal slider in the format width x height.

To find out your resolution in Windows Vista right click on the desktop and select Personalize and then click on Display Settings. You will see it below the horizontal slider in the format width x height.

Now becuase I have never used a mac before I don’t know how to find out your resolution on a mac.

After you have your resolution all figured out the next step is to get your wallpaper. The best way to do this is to go to your resolution catagory. I will use my resolution for this example. My monitor is a widescreen with the resolution of 1680 x 1050. From the homepage I would select at the top of the page wide screen and then select 1680 x 1050. Now I can see every wallpaper that is in my monitors resolution. Once I find the one I want I just click the download button below the image and then I right click the big image and click save as, save it somewhere that you know you can find it like in a folder called backgrounds or wallpaper.

Now that your wallpaper is saved you can set it as your background. There are many ways of doing this but the easiest way would be to find the file, right click, and click set as background.

I hope you like InterfaceLIFT as much as I do.
