I have been messing around in Sun Virtual Box for some time now, testing the newest version of ubuntu and any other os that comes around. Just recently I downloaded the latest release of Windows 7 and put that in. After getting it installed I realised that I have 4 Operating Systems running at the same time on the same computer. In the picture you see all of them running at once and I numbered them so you can see what is what.
1. Host OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
2. Windows 7 in SunVB. Fullscreen on second monitor.
3. Ulteo OVD (Open Virtual Desktop)
4. Ubuntu 9.04
Here is something interesting. When I was in grade 11 I was talking with a buddy (Dan) in the library. I mentioned to him that how cool would it be to save something to my school computer account then go home and login online and open the same file to edit it. I recently found Ulteo OVD which is an Virtual Desktop that I can access from around the world. Basically it is exactly what I wanted back then. After finding it last month I have been playing with it and tweaking it and I think that the school should use this software on their servers. This way all of the students can access their files at home and school and it is very fast for using the internet. Just though I let you all know that.
